Beech firewood is an excellent wood! Burns with a bright, lively flame. Throws very good heat! Many pizzerias prefer Beech wood due to its high flames and clean aroma. Mix with a hardwood or use by itself. Burns a bit quicker than other African or Australian hardwoods. (Heavier firewood than Birch and similar density to Oak)
